Fall 2024 Basketball

1st / 2nd grade registration will remain open until Nov 3 since those divisions do not begin playing until after Thanksgiving

  • The game days are subject to change.  Cancellations due to weather, school events, etc. may necessitate divisions playing makeup games on different days each week.
  •  Grades are determined by the school year as of September 2024
  • Divisions may be combined based on total number of registrations
  • Games are played within the Sachem School District
  • Weekday games begin after 6:00 pm.  Older divisions will play on Saturdays
  • Registration cost includes: Uniform shirts, Trophies (grades 1-6), referees, hall monitors, insurance and gym fees
  • $10 discount for each family member registered after first registration
  • 1st & 2nd grade divisions are instructional:  the first half of each session the teams will split the gym and have individual team practices.  The two teams will scrimmage the second half of each session.

BASKETBALL - FALL 2024


Spring Basketball for grades 1 through 12 (ages 6 & up). 

PLEASE NOTE:  Available divisions are based on the Sachem School District's grade levels which are based on the player's date of birth. If there is a discrepancy or conflict with your child's age/grade placement, please register for the grade level available to you, and email us at [email protected] to request a division change. Please include any details indicating why a change is necessary. While we register each grade level separately, divisions may be combined as necessary to facilitate the formation of teams.

All players are provided with a reversible uniform jersey.

Regular registration ends on September 22, 2024. A $10 late fee will be applied to all registrations processed on or after September 23. To ensure that we have an equal number of players on each team, registrations for some divisions may close and/or be waitlisted earlier than the posted date as they fill up.
1st & 2nd grade registration will remain open until early November. These divisions do not begin playing until after Thanksgiving.

Multiple child/family discount: Children registered from the same family and by the same SYAG/Sports Connect account will qualify for a multi-child which is applied at checkout.
